Party Poker hasn’t always had a competitive rewards program. Online poker sites usually take small steps in this department but Party Poker went from mediocre to extraordinary practically overnight. Obviously you will want to claim the best bonus possible and it will provide a lot of value on the short term but loyal players should take advantage of the rewards program for long-term benefits. Having a solid understanding of the benefits offered through Party Poker’s rewards program will actually allow you to win more money. Many players are completely in the dark about the true scale of this rewards program. Party Poker Rewards – The Levels & Benefits

There are five levels to this rewards program. Party Poker’s five VIP tiers each come with a host of benefits. Many poker sites issue comp points that you can use to buy in to tournaments or spend on t-shirts with the poker room’s logo on it. You can do this at Party Poker but that is only the tip of the iceberg. There are ten separate cash credits and nine opportunities to buy bonuses.  Here is an overview of what you can earn from the Party Poker VIP program:

  • Cash credits: $10, $15, $50, $120, $300, $600, $1,500, $3,500, $15,000 and $50,000.
  • Bonuses – $30, $80, $200, $450, $1,000, $3,000, $7,000, $20,000 and $75,000.

The bonuses actually provide much more value than the cash rewards. When you purchase a bonus using you’re Party Points you will only need to earn a quarter of the bonuses cost in Party Points. This is only half of what Party Poker used to require. The bonuses are converted into cash in five increments so if you purchased a $3,000 bonus you would receive five $600 payments.

This VIP program is loaded with benefits for both small stakes and high stakes players. I have read several stories about players who play poker for a living at Party Poker. You can actually lose money at the tables every single day and still make six figures a year in profit. This is possible because of the rewards program.  These players tend to play at several tables at once and spend 30-40 hours per week playing. The Party Points earned can offset huge losses once you are in the higher VIP tiers.

Palladium and Palladium Elite are the top two levels at Party Poker. They are comparable to Supernova and Supernova Elite at Pokerstars, Party Poker’s top rival. Admission into these levels is based on how many Party Points you earn during 90 day periods. Palladium requires 9,000 Party Points and Palladium Elite requires 40,000 Party Points. The three lower tiers are Bronze, Silver and Gold. You are instantly placed in the Bronze tier when you signup and you will need to earn 400 points to reach Silver. Gold level players need to earn 1,000 points.
